Homeschoolers dig in rather than give in
Hard times have not diminished the ranks of homeschoolers, as this USA Today article details. The trend is an increase in homeschoolers, in fact. Parents who had been sending their kids to private schools and find they can no longer afford tuition choose homeschooling over government schools. Others who had been homeschooling find ways to keep doing it.
